In March 2008, the Farrars decided to build a new home with the goal of a net zero energy design, surrounded by a sustainable farm to provide a carbon neutral footprint. To do so, they assembled a team of experts with the knowledge, creativity and know-how to achieve these goals. The home is now complete and LEED Platinum certified.
Point of Departure. In setting out to create our own space, we were determined to demonstrate our company values by using reclaimed and recycled materials to create a modern, elegantly designed studio, by utilizing or recycling as much of the teardown as possible, and by delivering a space that would be both an aesthetic and functional asset to our North Park community.
